China Basin
Located just south of Oracle Park and the South Beach Marina, this anchorage is close to downtown San Francisco, and (being free) cheaper than South Beach. You may even get lucky and catch a baseball...generally empty, unless there is a nig game on, in which case it can get a bit crowded. However, ferry traffic oftem makes the anchorage roll, so I prefer pier 50.
